1. Soda
The food product removes even old and perennial contamination. To use baking soda, you need to prepare. Take a large saucepan that will hold the hood filter. Pour two-thirds of water into the container, put the pan on the fire, bring to a boil and, stirring the liquid, add the baking soda. Add the product at the rate of 1-2 tbsp. for every liter of water.
Stir the solution thoroughly and immerse the filter with grates in it. Boil the liquid for another 30 minutes. If you cannot find a saucepan for the size of the item, boil the filter in parts. First half an hour on one side, then half an hour on the other. Then remove the items, cool, clean off the plaque, rinse in clean water and wipe dry. Dirt and grease will go away by themselves, and you just have to wipe the cleaned filter and grates.
2. Soap solution
First, prepare a solution of laundry soap and hot water. Calculate that a whole bar is needed for 5 liters of liquid. Take a large container (not necessarily a saucepan) and pour in enough water that the liquid theoretically covers the soiled items. Rub the required amount of soap into it, mix thoroughly. Immerse the filter, grates in the solution and leave them for an hour and a half. After the allotted time, start scrubbing the items with a plastic scraper or hard sponge. The outer casing of the hood can also be wiped with soapy water.
3. Vinegar
The dirtier the details, the more concentrated you take the essence. Vinegar is even suitable for fighting old fat deposits. Remove the parts, fill them with essence and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Then wash the items thoroughly in clean water. If there are any stains or grease left (although this is unlikely), apply vinegar to selected areas. The acid is quite aggressive, so be sure to wear protective rubber gloves.
4. Lemon acid
For prophylaxis and regular cleaning, lemon is suitable. Cut the citrus in half and juice the entire area of the hood. Fresh pollution is gone. Situations are more difficult to handle with a combination of citric acid and baking soda.
First option: mix soda and acid in equal proportions and add 2 tbsp. water. Apply the resulting product to the hood, and after 30 minutes rinse the equipment with water. Second option: combine food in equal parts and sprinkle them on the filter with grates. Sprinkle with water from a spray bottle on top to form a reaction. Soak for half an hour, rinse and dry.
5. Household chemicals
If the dirt does not give in, one of the sewer cleaning agents will have to help. No need to take expensive chemicals. Pay attention to Sanox, Deboucher Active, Mole, Chirton. The funds are sold in all stores, they are in the form of powders or gels.
