Budget repair "killed" treshki 71 m²: Before & After

  • Dec 27, 2019

The apartment in Paris is not much different from the Soviet hruschovok with bedrooms, undershirts. Even a five-meter kitchen, and the atmosphere is made up of a red lacquered furniture! But the designer Elodie Chomet just five months transformed the interior beyond recognition.

The main room in the apartment - a spacious living room. Previously beige wallpaper visually "eat" all the space. The room seemed cramped and dark. Therefore, almost all the designer painted walls, ceilings, ledges and girders to a boil-and-white color. As accent only appeared minty shade on one of the walls, which visually extends the room.

Earlier in the corner was placed a huge red lacquered cabinet. He - a clear proof that in the 1960-80s owners hruschovok lived about the same as ordinary Parisians. In his place, moved the whole body of the living room.

But the main achievement of a designer in the new unusual layout. The blank wall between the living room and the kitchen, he opened a window and a door.

Now the room seem much more spacious, and the dining table is right next to the cooking area. Previously simply was no room for him.

Of course, earlier in the window was a tiny closets and a dining table. Now the space is simply redistributed. For example, under the window provided a folding table, and along the window sill - roomy drawers with top on them.

Previously, to get to the kitchen can be from a wide corridor. Now the entrance was moved, as part of the corridor attached to establish in its place the plate and the hob.

To turn the dark kitchen back in USSR in a stylish and modern, it was enough to remove from the walls brown mosaic, which previously rose to the ceiling, and replace it with a combination of wood and stainless steel. From it is made not only equipment, but also half of the facades.

Brown wallpaper pretty spoiled bedrooms geometry. Here, too, came to the aid of a snow-white paint in combination with blue accent. Dark wall seems a little further than it actually is - the walls are literally parted.

Instead of the usual closet in the bedroom would prefer a mini-dressing, which is built into the wall.

The main emphasis in the children became watercolor cactus in the wall. As long as the baby quite small, but the layout is already calculated that the furniture will be replaced by children, teenagers and even adults.

And the furniture, which stands next to the white walls, white too. And from the "cactus" - "red" retro-cradle, chest of drawers and a shelf. Because of this, there is no feeling cluttered the tiny bedroom.

Built-in closet in the hallway was on the site and to repair. However, with beige facade panels are intricate, it was decided to replace the more concise. They are tinted in the color of the walls. So in general the feeling disappeared sizes and cabinet volume. A weight gain in a narrow corridor of shelves for pictures and posters.

Apparently, the mosaic was the main love the previous owners of apartments, because in the bathroom and it rose almost to the ceiling. The new interior instead of a single shell provided just two - to gather more comfortable, and the place they occupy the same amount.
