A trip to the Metro store

Yesterday I learned about the action in the Metro stores, told you about it and decided to get to the store. As a result, I bought it for only 5786 rubles, paying 4786 for it.

Europolis (formerly Golden Babylon) is completely closed. There are lonely carsharing cars in the parking lot, which now do not go anywhere.

At least some kind of life glimmers around the Metro.

You go inside and it is immediately clear why they are luring with discounts. There are no buyers.

There is at least someone in the food departments.

In total, there were about twenty people in the huge store, despite the fact that I was at the peak time - on Sunday evening.

Yesterday, in the comments, many wrote that prices in the Metro are higher than in stores near your home. In fact, something higher, but something lower.

For the first time I bought food for cats. Gourmet Gold costs 26 rubles 90 kopecks (the usual price is 42 rubles) if you buy from 24 cans of the same type. I took 48 cans for the tailed crocodiles. Taking into account the discount for a free thousand, it turned out to be 21 rubles 52 kopecks per can.

I bought Dolce Gusto coffee, otherwise I almost ran out at home. It costs 329 rubles per box (in stores from 400 rubles, in the Dolce Gusto brand store 339 rubles when buying from 6 pieces). Minus 20% for a free thousand - 263 rubles. I also took one box of capsules of my own brand Metro RIOBA for a sample for 278 -20% - 222 rubles.

I bought six drinking yoghurts at 39.90 -20% = 31.92 rubles. Slightly cheaper than for shares in Pyaterochka or Attack.

At the weekend in Metro there was a promotion "-30% on any milk and butter". I bought 72% GOST oil for 75.60 -20% = 60.48 rubles. Fresh milk Econiva (already drank) 53.97 - 20% = 43.18. Long-lasting milk RIOBA 37.03 - 20% = 29.62 rubles! I didn't realize that milk was so cheap, I had to take 10 pieces for future use.

There are goods in the metro that cannot be found in other stores. I thought for a long time whether it was worth buying, but still decided, just in case, given the current situation in the world, to take a two-kilogram pack of Knorr mashed potatoes for 799 rubles. I don’t consider a discount for a free thousand on it, since I got just 800 rubles beyond the five thousand from which they give a 20% discount.

I also bought all kinds of food on the little things, all with a 20% discount.

I issued a pass for the first time to the Metro. I went there on foot, took a taxi back. The taxi driver did not ask for a pass.

The Metro website says that with an electronic guest card, you need to go to the administrator and get a plastic one. In fact, nothing is needed. I added it directly from the computer screen from a letter with a barcode to the Wallet application (I have all the cards of all stores in it) and at the entrance showed the turnstile a barcode from the "Wallet". He showed it at the checkout and got a discount of 1000 rubles.

But it was not possible to find out how long the free thousand is valid (30 days, as it is written in one place, or until April 30, as it is written in another).

When registering a card on the site, they require a daw to receive advertising materials, so I issued a card to an auxiliary email address and a non-primary phone number. Surprisingly, the phone is not checked in any way, so you can write anything in general. The passport is also not checked, so theoretically several such buyer's cards with a free thousand can be issued. ;)
