Today I will show you a simple way how to manually cut a profile pipe evenly with a grinder in one pass. It is no longer necessary to mark all 4 sides of the pipe and also turn it over 4 times during the cutting process. Let's increase the speed of work by 4 times without losing quality!

We make markings only on 2 sides of the pipe - on the top, we look at it from above when cutting, and on the front from us.

First, we cut through the top flange of the pipe according to the markings.

Then, without stopping, we cut the front flange of the pipe according to the marking.

2 shelves are cut, we lower the disc into these slots, we do everything without stopping the grinder, the disc is in a groove, these cuts are now guides for the disc. In this position, the disc will be at 90 degrees to the profile pipe.

Now with the disc we drive back along the guide from the upper and front cut, so we saw through the back side of the pipe.

Now we return the disc forward and cut the lower part of the pipe, everything, if done in this sequence, the cut will be even. The maximum can go by 1-2 mm, and even then rarely, if you master this method.

I'll show you in practice. I made 3 markings, saw off these 3 rings and look at the accuracy of the cut in millimeters.

Here we made these cuts in one pass without stopping the grinder disc.

Here are our 3 rings, now we take a ruler and look at the accuracy of the cut, measuring the width of all 4 sides of each sawn-off part.

We make measurements, I'll say right away that there are several sides where we left a maximum of 1 mm.

Friends, the topic is important and there are many nuances, so it is better to watch a detailed video with this process, so it will be clearer and clearer. Look to the end, there, at the last minute, the process of cutting a pipe with a disc is shown, if you look from the side.
