It should be emphasized right away that cutting, soldering plastic pipes, as well as connecting fittings to them without turning off the water is technically impossible. At least for a short time, the place of activity must be drained and free from leaks. Most importantly, there must be no pressure. However, there are times when, even after the valve is closed, water continues to flow. But in such conditions it is quite possible to tightly secure the coupling.
What you need: valves, hex head bolt and elongated stem, three rubber pistons from medical syringes, nuts and washers, hex socket with bit, drill with end phase, grinder, wrenches and screwdrivers, soldering iron, dry rag.
First of all, we make a device for completely blocking the water flowing from the pipe. To do this, using a grinder, we adjust the size of the head of a regular bolt to a cylindrical hexagonal nozzle. After that, we take the pistons from the medical syringes and drill holes in their center using a drill with an end mill. Now we carry out the assembly: we screw two nuts onto the bolt with a reduced head, then a washer, followed by three rubber pistons and tighten the entire structure with another nut. The device is ready.

Using a manual screwdriver, push the created device into the pipe, twisting it at the end. Soon the water will stop flowing completely. Using a rag, we dry the place of work. After that, you can proceed to soldering. To do this, we take a soldering machine and heat the end of the pipe and the coupling with it. Next, we connect the welded structural elements.

We are waiting for the joint to harden, after which we untwist the pipe insulation. The whole process in all details can be seen in the video below.
Continuing the topic, read about what will be the consequencesif you do not open the ball valve all the time.
