Designer Irina Shevchenko designed a 31 m² studio in a historic building for a young girl. The high ceiling allowed for the addition of a second level, where a full bedroom was placed.

The interior is dominated by dark tones, which, contrary to popular belief, expanded the boundaries of space. In addition, this range, in combination with red brick, rough wood textures, channels and I-beams, fits perfectly into the conceived aesthetic concept.
Living room
The sofa was placed in the center of the room, close to the autonomous bar counter, marking the border between the living room and the kitchen.
Kitchen
They refused from the upper tier of the kitchen unit - they managed only a couple of shelves, which unloaded the space as much as possible. The refrigerator and cooker hood were not integrated into a single front. They mimicked the environment with a matte texture and color.
Bedroom
The mattress was placed on a specially organized podium, forming a comfortable sleeping place.
Hallway
Storage cabinets were placed on either side of the entrance. One of them was built into the niche that turned out when the bathroom was surrounded. The area was isolated at floor level and by means of a fence.
Bathroom
The bathroom is also inspired by tropical motifs. They are embodied, in particular, in a decorative ladder for towels and a basin made of river stone Loft Design.
