They decided to use the high ceiling to increase the usable area of the studio. As a result, a second tier appeared, where a secluded bedroom was equipped. Its size was almost 10 m². On the first floor, a kitchen-living room was placed, having completed zoning.

  • total area: 33 m²
  • Ceiling height: 4.2 m
  • House type: former factory building built in 1914
  • Budget: 1.6 million rubles

The choice of style determined the character of the building. The surviving brickwork with the brands of the enterprise was treated with a transparent matte varnish.
The palette was based on neutral gray shades of varying degrees of saturation, supplemented with yellow and red accents.

Living room

The main place in the living room was taken by a corner sofa in a calm gray shade. It was refreshed with a catchy painting that plays up elements of the Russian folk style in a modern way.

An important role in the interior was assigned to black, which acts as a contrast and brings graphicity.

Bedroom

The bedroom has a bed with a built-in lifting mechanism that opens a box for storing bed linen.

The ceiling beams have been partially highlighted in red. The stripes descend on the wall, setting a vertical vector and thus visually slightly expanding the room.

Closer to the stairs there was a place for a small cabinet with shelving. Nearby, a TV was built into the resulting corner.

Hallway

The small hallway was refreshed with yellow accents, which are present on the facades of the wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bathroom

In the bathroom, the walls in the wet areas were laid with patterned tiles; paint was used for the rest of the areas.
